Its roots lie in the legendary Dulcimer band of Eugen Horváth. At present, the band is led by his son, Milan Horváth. The group is concentrated, above all, on interpretation of traditional Romany music. Naturally, this source is confrontated with new influences. A lot of succesful concerts around Europe give evidence of correctness of such an attitude.
In 2002, the Horváth band took part in a ethno festival RASA in Netherlands. A year later, the group had a great succes on the international festival Les Orientales in France, where they played with Taraf de Haidouks. The band attracts the audience by a great ethusiasm and authentic interpretation of the traditional Romany repertoir.
At present, the group works on a release of a debut CD Zapomenuté tóny ("Forgotten tunes").
